General Motors shot back at Newt Gingrich Tuesday, openly mocking his stump speech allegation that the Chevy Volt is an "Obama car" because "you can't put a gun rack in a Volt."
"Actually, you can," wrote GM's head of communications, Selim Bingol, on the company's blog. "But the real question is, 'Why would you?'"

Gingrich is pissed because he didn't have enough left on his Tiffany's credit line for a gun rack.

He looks like Mephistopheles when he laughs. It's quite terrifying!

Gingrich made a stir last week during a speech in Georgia.... "We believe in the right to bear arms and we like to bear the arms in our trucks," he said, according to The Detroit News.
I love this article! Way to put it to that fool who is pretending to know anything about average Americans--from any state or region.
First, Pig Newton said "we" and "our" when refering to gun racks and trucks??? When was the last time he hoisted his arse into a truck? I'll bet it hasn't been in recent memory.
The article makes the point that the Volt is a bad example because most sedans don't accommodate gun racks. Just for the record, there are sedans registered in Georgia. Nice way to stereotype folks in the South, Newtster!

I think that Newt has a golf club bag and gun rack confused as there are a few cars that are too small to put a golf bag into but it seems that all cars can carry a gun or two with no problem.

More proof that the right wing has a small problem with verifying what they say with the facts.

obsessing over the right to have guns is one thing, but obsessing over, nay insulting things for not having guns, is just damn violent.

Gee,
I thought that Newt was saying Ferraris, Lambos, or Ford F-1's wouldn't be cars because you couldn't strap a shotgun to the rear window... Is this how we really want to define America?

Ha ha! That is just too funny! Serves him right for trying to make fun of clean energy just for votes (volts?) What a jerk! :-(

For someone claimed to be very smart, ole Newt is one of the dumbest "smart" people I've ever seen.

In 50 years EV's will go for 300 miles before needing a charge. In 100 years it will go 500 and the charge will take 10 minutes..
Imagine when the Model T's were rolling off the line did anyone think about what the cars of today would look like...or perform like....
Time to think outside the box people because when the oil is gone it will be too late!!!

I love it. Smart republican please take back your party. As a dem I really want a loyal opposition which talks about working smart, having a smart, effective, efficient government.

So Gingrich is a liar? Who would have thought it?
Certainly not the right-wing talkers who have been parroting his lies.

Worth repeating a thousand times.
